28 Detail items to pack for your Wedding Day Detail Photos
ADVICE
One of my favourite ways to start capturing your Wedding Day is with all the details you had put your heart and dreams in to for your wedding details! It’s also the best way to warm up my creativeness for the rest of the day.
I know, on your Wedding Day that the images of yourself and your partner, of your family members and the details of reception are at the focus of your photography photos right now. res assured, all those beautiful timeless moments and memories will be captured perfectly! But don’t forget about all the little things, like your flowers, shoes, rings, perfume, vows and jewellery, etc.
Images are what last forever, all the important moments will be captured and held forever in images you will be able to look through for the rest of your life. So capturing these details on the day might not be your first priority or even your second or third, but they are a priority as you will look on to the images and remember. You will remember the jewellery you wore on your day, the perfume your partner first smelt on his beautiful wife, the shoes before they got scuffed up from ripping it up on the dance floor, the invites, your vows, everything. Even the ribbon your Mum might have got you to tie a little note she wrote for her daughter before she got married.
All those little details will be captured in images you will cherish after your wedding day and forever.

13 ITEMS ALL BRIDES SHOULD CONSIDER PACKING FOR YOU WEDDING DETAIL PHOTOS
Many of these items will (or should) be present already, but a few items on this list take a little extra planning in order to include them in your wedding day detail photos. I have created the perfect list of items I usually capture whenever they are available to me. I recommend bringing all of these that are applicable, plus any special touches that are important to you.
Dress
Veil
Invitations (2 copies of full, if possible) - I know a lot of people go online invites now, but that doesn’t stop you from printing personal ones for yourselves to frame ;)
Shoes
Jewellery
Perfume
ALL 3 rings + ring boxes - if all 3 are with you, then they will be able to be captured. There will be plenty of time to get them to whomever will be holding them for the Ceremony
Something old, new, borrowed and blue
Bouquet + loose florals - many florists are great about including a few loose flowers / greenery for styled detail photos. It’s best to not assume that they will automatically be including and no harm in asking. I have a great recommendation list for some amazing Toowoomba Florists if you need any recommendations. (also best to make sure the florals are delivered at a designated time so that they will be present in the detail photos)
Vow book/s
Any extra ribbon, accents, or items of significance
Any gifts or notes from one another
Guest Welcome Bags or Favours
Pro Tip: With the exception of your dress, veil and the florals, these items should all fit easily in to one box or container. This is great to get organized a few nights before you wedding day, so then you just need to make sure your “detail box” is with you, compared to rushing around trying to find all the little details and possibly missing a sentimental piece. This also allows myself to start right on time then having to look for the items which could be time capturing your beautiful morning!
